I am trialling a new facelift to my website. I really like the idea of sliding images and getting a lot more content onto my site – Also making it a lot easier to read with all the information in one place.

Contact Information is easy to see and I have incorporated a easy enquiry form on the home page.

Over the next few days all the other pages will get the makeover – I am now just curious to see if the facelift makes any difference to my visitors

Wedding Magician in Cornwall

This weekend I was invited to a very good friends wedding who I have known since she was a very young girl. The wedding was in Cornwall and i was asked as i often am now to bring along a few tricks.

It was a great chance to catch up with some old friends and I did perform some magic which did go down very well. The reception was held at the Guildhouse in Poundstock  www.poundstockgildhouse.co.uk

This is a very unique venue in the grounds of a church.

Luckily the weather held off and i spent the whole evening outside. I got chance to try out a few new routines i have been working on which is always good.

I would like to wish Katie & Chris all the best for the future.

Blackpool Magicians Convention 2011 – FISM

Blackpool Magicians Convention 2011

One of the worlds largest Magic Conventions takes place every February in Blackpool.
Over 3,500 magicians descend upon the b&b’s of Blackpool to meet dealers from around the world, lectures, workshops and to catch up with old friends.

In 2012 Blackpool Magicians Convention will be hosting the 25th world championships of magic organised by FISM.

FISM stands for Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques it is the pinnacle of any magicians career to enter and win FISM it is like the olympics of magic.

In 2011 the Blackpool Magicians Club host the inaugural FISM  European Championships of Magic in Blackpool.

This is a first for Blackpool and tickets are selling out fast.

If you are a young magician who has never been to Blackpool you must go.

Once you have been once you can’t stop, for me it just keeps getting better and better, every year you meet new friends and contacts and it is a great social weekend.

If your other half is not a magician but wants to come along they have shows every night which they can attend culminating in a Sunday night gala show which is amazing. World class stage magic performed by entertainers from around the world.

3 Magicians in Southampton Guildhall

Friday night was one of my favourite gigs of the year so far. The Southampton Medics graduation ball.

It is not often you get chance to work with other magicians but tonight I had to entertain 450 guests. Three Magicians were required!

Two good friends of mine Tony Hymans and Steve Charrett two very good magicians helped me for the night and it was great to work alongside them as most jobs usually have less than 100 guests.

There was some reception Magic and then some Table Magic, everyone was amazed.

The event took place at Southampton Guildhall in Hampshire which was a great venue.

Iphone 4 release date announced

Apple have finally announced after a lot of hype the relase date for the sale of its 4th generation iphone – to be known as the iphone 4

According to the lastest info it will be available to buy in the uk from the end of the month with pre-orders being taken from 15th June.

I will post up more info as I know it but I have previously held off getting an iphone but the new iphone 4 looks brilliant with a much better battery life which let down previous models.

Wedding Entertainment in Surrey

As the wedding season rolls on I seem to have an unusually high amout of bookings in Surrey this year.

I can’t put an explanation to it but Wedding Entertainment has taken a turn over the last few years and Magicians have grown massivley in popularity.

Not sure if this is due to TV, Google, or just an increased interest in Magic.

Website Design in Hampshire

If you have not noticed I have a new website!

The old one was a collection versions of  my website which I had done myself over the last year. I thought it was about time to get a facelift.

But without the time or the knowledge to make something really good.

So I jump on google and look for a website design in hampshire.

By chance I came across Get-Webbed.com – which is Lee Harris a freelance web designer based in Hamble. He has a very simple strategey £99 per page.

And he does not stop until you are entirely happy with your site.

I did make a quite a few changes and lots of late night emails and we have just put the finishing touches to it tonight – so if you are looking for a website, a facelift to your current website or a completely new website contact Lee at Get-Webbed.
