If you were searching for “How to entertain wedding guests during photos” then you have come to the right place!
My name is Roger Lapin and I am a Close up Magician, I perform at many weddings every year and one of the best times of the day to perform magic at a wedding is during the photos.
After the wedding ceremony either at a church or if the ceremony is at the hotel where you are having the reception, all of your guests will start to gather outside for the photos to begin. There is usually 1-2 hours before the wedding breakfast and there is generally not much in the way of entertainment.
I can perform my close up magic to small groups of your guests whilst they are waiting for their turn for the photos. Once the group shot is completed then there is usually quite a few small groups waiting and I can perform my close up tricks for them. If you then go of with for the special photos with the photographer your guests are left waiting for the wedding breakfast.
If you have hired a Close up Magician you should have now worries about how to keep wedding guests entertained during the photos!
There are of course other ways to entertain your guests during the photos, please see my list of Wedding Reception Games Ideas or you could hire a Charicaturist, or an Ice Cream Trolley. Some hotels provide giant games like Jenga or chess to play on the lawn, but I personally think the best way of how to entertain your wedding guests during photos is to hire a Close up Magican
For many of your wedding guests they will have not met before and once I have performed a few tricks it is a great ice breaker for them to start discussing how the trick was done.
I will always try to involve everyone in the magic and if there are children at your wedding I will always have a bag of balloons to make a few animals for them.
