Are you looking for a Magician in London? Want to know how much they cost?
How much does a Magician cost in London?
A professional Magician in London can cost from £500 to £1500 depending on who you book and the day of the week you are hiring. Hiring a Magician in London on a Saturday is always more expensive than a weekday as this is the day that most parties and corporate events take place.
It also depends on how many guests you are expecting and hence how many hours you need to hire a Magician to ensure everyone gets to see some Magic.
A professional Magician can usually get around to about 50 guests per hour, so if you are expecting over 100 guests for your event it is highly recommended to hire a second Magician to ensure everyone gets to see some magic.
The price for hiring a Magician in London also depends on how many hours you want to hire the Magician for? If you are looking for just an hour it tends to be more expensive for the first hour and then additional hours are cheaper.
This usually depends on travel and getting to a gig, a Magician will rather take a longer booking at one location than have to perform for shorter time slots at multiple events across the city.
e.g. if you want to hire a Magician in London for an hour it is going to cost between £300-£500 if you want to hire a Magician for 2 hours it will cost between £500-£750 and for 3 hours it will cost between £750-£1500 depending on the day of the week and the Magician you are hiring.
For a typical Magician who is a member of the Magic circle these prices are reasonable, however if you are looking to hire a famous Magician expect to pay more, this may not always mean you are getting better Magic you are just getting a Magician who is well known. i.e if you wanted to hire Dynamo for your party I am sure he will not be cheap, not because of the Magic he would perform, but just because of who he is. Likewise if you wanted to hire David Blaine or David Copperfield for your party I am sure the cost would be very high!

How much do close-up magicians cost?
Close-up Magicians can cost from £150-£1500 depending on who you hire, where you are hiring them and for what. If you are hiring a Magician for a Corporate Event in London for 1000 guests it will be more expensive than hiring a Magician for a garden party on an afternoon.
