I’m often recruited to help as a trade show magician – to work alongside the sales reps of a company. My mix-and-mingle magic can keep prospective new clients/buyers at your stall longer than otherwise. This buys your reps more time to do their thing, and close those all-important deals.

I can entertain a crowd of up to 150 guests over 2 hours. However, for crowds larger than 150, or for day-long / night-long events, I would recommend hiring a second and maybe a third magician depending on the number of guests. As a long-standing and respected member of the world-famous Magic Circle, I have a number of connections with highly-skilled and professional UK magicians. A magician? Is it REALLY suitable entertainment for a corporate event? I’m not sure…

Hiring any old magician? No. That’s not a good idea. There’s a big difference between hiring a low-rate party magician vs hiring a corporate magician with decades of experience in the industry.

When you hire me, you’re getting more than just my highly-polished sleight-of-hand mix and mingle/table magic (which I’ve crafted and refined over many years). You’re also hiring an individual who understands the social environment that they’re performing in.

Regardless, I always try to meet my prospective clients for a quick coffee before finalising the details of a corporate event booking. This way, you get to know me a bit before making a booking. I am regularly in London and always happy to meet clients for coffee!

Corporate entertainment magician vs corporate hospitality magician – what’s the difference?

As a corporate event magician, in the industry for many years, I have vast experience in both arenas.

Corporate hospitality is more about free food and drink as the centrepiece. Sometimes it means a box or reserved area at a public sporting or entertainment event. This can be a way for a large company to swoon prospects for future business deals, entertain current clients, or reward staff. Again, some mix and mingle magic just adds to the fun and light-hearted atmosphere at such events.

What sort of tricks does a corporate magician for hire do?

It’s close up / sleight-of-hand magic. Ideal for standing situations or for seated dinners. My magic utilises playing cards, coins, fruit, rubber bands and personal items from guests. I also do a bit of mind reading and have been know to pick a few pockets.
