Female Magicians on Fool Us
Magicians are always very popular on Fool Us, if you have not heard of Fool Us it’s a show where Magicians perform a trick in front of world famous Magicians Penn & Teller and a live audience.
Penn & Teller then have to work out how the trick was done, and if they “Fooled” them. If they get a trophy and a spot at Penn & Tellers Las Vegas show.
In the history of the show currently running in it’s 8th series there have only been 47 performances by female magicians out of a total of 467 performances.
This breaks down to around 10% of the performers being female.
The fool it rate is about the same between men and women.

Another very popular show for Magicians is Britain’s Got Talent, and there have been quite a few female performers.
