Another term for a table magician is a table top magician, We are not sure where this comes from but it is another term that refers to the same thing. All Table Magic is performed close up as Roger is seated very close to most people, this magic is perfectly suited for dinner parties or where you are having a meal.

However if you do not have tables at your event then he can put on his close up magician hat and perform. If you are just having a meal in a Restaurant to celebrate a birthday and would like some magic performed at the table, from one table of 4 guests all the way up to 50 tables at a ball. Roger can provide more table magicians if required.

If your event is expecting over 150 guests it is recommended to hire more than one magician, Roger works with some of the best Table Magicians on the south coast and can hire them on your behalf.

As a guideline please allow one magician per 120 guests.

If you are expecting more than 150 guests it is recommended to book two or more table magicians. I am happy to book another Table Magician on your behalf and will only book people that I have worked with in the past and can highly recommend. One of the most common questions by far I get asked is how much do you charge? Table Magician Prices are not an exact science and I don’t have a fixed price because each event is different.

Table Magician Booking

Your event where you require a table magician might be on a Tuesday, in the daytime, only for 10 guests or it could be for 350 guests. Every event is different and so every quote is different.

There are some basic points to remember.

• Saturdays are my busiest day and I have my Saturday rate.
• I charge more for evenings than I do for daytime performances.
• As a Table Magician I allow 1 hour per 30-40 guests.
• Typical prices range from £100-200 per hour.

Frequently asked questions

How many Table Magicians do I need?

Depending on how much time you have for Table Magic, typically for most corporate events, there is a short performance window of around 2 hours where the meal is being served and before the entertainment starts. So, if you are looking for everyone to see some Table Magic you need to allow 1 Table Magician per 100-150 guests depending on how much magic you want each table to see? For 100 guests over a 2 hour period and you have 10 guests per table equates to around 10 minutes per table.

Are Table Magicians good for Weddings?

Yes, 100% a Table Magician is the perfect entertainment for the wedding breakfast or during the photos.

What is a Table Magicians Table?

A lot of Magicians use a small table to perform magic on, it is usually foldable and assembled in seconds, some of them in a very magic way. It provides a good surface to perform magic to small groups of people and ensures a solid surface to perform tricks such as the cups and balls.

Why does the tablecloth magic trick work?

Whilst not actually a magic trick when a Magician pulls a tablecloth from a table with enough inertia all the plates and glasses will remain on the table. This is just physics you don’t need a special Magician Table.
