The traditional Jewish coming of age celebration the Bar Mitzvah can be quite a lavish affair. Normally celebrated when a boy reaches 13 years. It is the initiation into adulthood and is looked upon now as the equivalent of Western Christianity’s celebration of confirmation.

When would a Close up Magician perform at our Bar Mitzvah?
Bar Mitzvahs can be very long celebrations that last over an entire weekend, if the main celebrations are going to be in an evening with a meal, then I would suggest that this is the best time to hire a Close up Magician. I can either perform before the meal whilst your guests are arriving or during the meal between courses, I would advise against booking me too late into the evening as once the band has started to play it can get very hard to hear and be heard. I can also be hired at any point during the day, but from experience the early part of the evening is usually best.

Prices start from £350 for 2 hours depending on the day of the week and the season, during the summer Saturdays get very busy for weddings and December is very busy for Christmas Parties.
